Early and personal life
Kumar Gaurav was born Manoj Tuli[3] and is the son of actor Rajendra Kumar and Shukla (belonging to the Behl family of Hindi films).
He went to Bishop Cotton School, Shimla. In he married Namrata Dutt () sister of Sanjay Dutt and daughter of Sunil Dutt and Nargis.[4][5][6] They have two daughters, Saachi Kumar who is married to producer Kamal Amrohi's
